The civil rights violations began almost immediately after ratification of the treaty and continue today, over 160 years; and for violations of the U.S. Constitution during the “Mexican Repatriation” (1929-1939), the first U.S. Mexican/Mexican-American ethnic cleansing and “Operation “Wetback” (1954), the second U.S. Mexican/Mexican-American ethnic cleansing.
